EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson addressed the American Public Health Association's 137th Annual Conference Nov. 8, requesting support for the agency's goal of reforming chemicals management in the United States.While pointing to research published by the Environmental Working Group showing that human fetuses are exposed to a wide array of industrial chemicals, Jackson acknowledged that "some chemicals may be risk-free at the levels we are seeing."
