The European Commission confirmed this week that it will not consider any extension to the pre-registration deadline in the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, Classification and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation past Dec. 1, despite technical difficulties with the computerized system at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
