Australia's gene technology regulator has been unable to find the source of genetically modified canola that was found in a conventional canola crop destined for export in 2005.After an exhaustive study,regulator Sue Meek wrote a report ruling out Tasmania,a prime suspect,and several other growing sites as the origin of the small quantity of contaminants.
