On June 25 (RVD2008-24), Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency granted continued registration of products containing the herbicide nicosulfuron for sale and use. "An evaluation of available scientific information found that products containing nicosulfuron have value in the food and crop industry and do not present unacceptable risks to human health or the environment when used according to label directions," according to PMRA.
