Bangkok-Dow Chemical expects to invest 350-million in several downstream petrochemical projects in Thailand over the next five years,according to local industry sources.The spending is in addition to the recently announced l.l-billion naphtha cracker to be built at Map Ta Phut in Thailand as a joint venture of Dow and Siam Cement(PCN,23 Oct 06,p 1).
