摘要

How a tester for measuring angle of repose can keep production lines running smoothly. The technology of storing powders and moving them between specialised items of processing machinery is now much better understood owing to intensive research efforts in universities and R&D departments all over the world. The result is that processes and equipment can now be designed with reasonable confidence that the final product will meet the demands of the market with respect to technical quality, functional performance and price. Experienced manufacturers and contractors are now better able to design powder storage facilities such as hoppers and silos and specify the best devices to convey powders and granular materials between processing machines such as dryers, mixers, fluidized beds, granulators, filling, tabletting and packing machines, provided appropriate tests are done on representative samples of the powders to be handled.
