摘要

Military organizations undergo change as new equipment, programs, technology and personnel are introduced. Leaders will be required to implement change. Orders and directives from headquarters do not mean that change will automatically follow. In order to implement change the leader must know: the composition and characteristics of his group; the process an individual and a group will follow adopting change; how to develop team work and cooperation; how to develop a change strategy; how to counter resistance; and how to combine all this knowledge with skillful interpersonal communications to guide the group through the adoption process. Leaders can apply the change principles and strategy presented in this report to increase the probability that their decisions and policies will happen. (Author)
