This thesis provides an introduction to the concepts of economic analysis, including a methodology for its practical use. The intention is to promote the uniform application of economic analyses within the Venezuelan Navy. Both benefit-cost and cost-effectiveness analyses are explored, accompanied by an application of economic analysis. Keywords: Decision making; and Resource management.
