The report describes the various inspections performed on three steam receivers. The various methods used to inspect the receivers were visual,magnetic particle,ultrasonic,radiographic,and dye penetrant. The steam receivers were used at the TC13and TC13Mod 1catapult sites from October 1965to November 1973. This is the first time in five inspections that any cracks were found. All previous inspections found the receivers free of defects. The cracks found during this inspection in no way affect the structural strength of the receivers. All cracks were ground out and faired/blended into surrounding metal. No repair welding was needed. Inspection of all three receivers will be conducted every 18months to insure structural integrity of the receivers. (Author)
