The Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences AzSSR participated in two divisions:1) the biological and agricultural division;2) the medical and veterinary division.nThe biological and agricultural-sciences division held four sessions at which 24 reports were presented (one from Moscow, 22 from Baku, and one from Tbilisi), The par¬ticipants in this divisions work were biologists, agricul¬tural workers, producers, and kolkhoz leaders of the republic and scientists from Moscow and from the brother republics.
