摘要

The current designs of fundamental power couplers for the International Linear Collider (ILC) are expensive and require excessively long conditioning times. The goal of this program was development of a new technology for power couplers. This technology is based on the cylindrical TE01 mode and other over-moded technologies developed for the X-band rf distribution system of the NCLTA. During the Phase I program, a TE10 to TE01 mode transducer suitable for use as a part of a power coupler in the ILC was designed and tested at low power.
