Module type flat-field grazing incidence spectrographs equipped with holographic grating are designed for the impurity diagnosis of large TOKAMAK (JT-60) plasma in the wavelength region of 0.5 - 122 nm. The spectrographs are with common size, and they cover different wavelength regions by changing the grating. The design requirement and characteristics of the spectrographs are summarized. Optical design and designed properties are discussed. The preliminary tests with photographic plates are examined, and many spectra including Al K alpha (0.83 nm) are recorded. These spectrographs show the designed flat-field character, and sufficient wavelength resolution for plasma diagnosis. (ERA citation 14:014013)
