A report is given of an Energy Demonstration project involving an O sub 2 trim control system as applied to a steady load, district heating type of hot water boiler at the University of Sussex. Results are presented for the ETC Boilermizer O sub 2 trim controller which monitors the flue gases leaving the boiler and trims the amount of air entering the burner. Overall energy savings of just over 1% for the boiler tested were achieved. (ERA citation 12:020510)
