The very low-energy transitions connecting the 12 sup + and 10 sup + states in the even mass lead isotopes with A = 196, 194 and those joining the 33/ sub 2+ and 29/ sub 2+ levels for sup 197 Pb and sup 195 Pb have been detected through conversion electron measurements and their energies determined. The experimental reduced transition probabilities B (E2) are compared to the theoretical ones computed within two different frameworks. (ERA citation 12:006029)
