The results of iodine and cesium measurements made during the Severe Fuel Damage Scoping Test at the Power Burst Facility are presented. On-line gamma spectroscopy and grab samples of the test effluent were used to measure the isotopic release histories at four locations in the effluent sampling system. Total release fractions, release rates, analysis of filter debris, and sample line deposition characteristics are discussed. Iodine and cesium release rate constants measured during the experiment are compared with published NRC data. (ERA citation 09:004713)
