摘要

Preliminary studies are reported on specific-site deuteration by deuterolysis of aryl halides, specific-site deuterium labelling in carbazole, and integrity of deuterium labels on aromatic rings during the Ullmann synthesis of diarylamines. Di-p-anisylnitroxide was synthesized and electron spin echo studies carried out on unlabelled and deuterium-labelled radicals. Three nitrogen-centered radicals were prepared. 5 figures.
