摘要

In order to apply the technique to molten UO sub 2 , the current is increased, causing the material to melt along the stack axis. The molten material is contained by the cooler solid material. It is shown that, without information about molten UO sub 2 which is currently unavailable, this technique does not yield the thermal conductivity of the molten material. It was found that the electrical conductivity of UO sub 2 drops when the material melts. (ERA citation 08:036410)
