摘要

That report showed that the first phase of identification by Federal agencies of applications for photovoltaic systems resulted in proposals for funding of 1,603 photovoltaic projects. After careful analysis, 1,538 of those were found to be cost-effective at current installed non-mass-produced system prices* (an average of $35 per peak watt). All of the currently cost-effective applications (a total of approximately $10 million) will be funded from $12.2 million appropriated by Congress for implementation of this program. After completion of the Phase I applications identification, Phase II was initiated. The selection criteria during Phase II will include greater emphasis on production unit prices and Federal and commercial market potential.
