A total of 26 laboratories from 15 countries participated in the intercomparison. Details of the intercomparison, and of the measuring and evaluation techniques used, are presented in the first part. The results for the emission rates of the ten strongest lines of exp 152 Eu are given there. In the second part, the results and discrepancies are discussed and a 'best' set of gamma-ray emission probabilities for exp 152 Eu with uncertainties of about 0.5% at the 68% confidence level is derived.
