Two high-pressure flow microreactors are functioning effi¬ciently in studies of dibenzothiophene hydrodesulfurization and quinoline hydrodenitrogenation. Assembly of a third microreactor is scheduled for completion in about three months.nDibenzothiophene hydrodesulfurization at conditions such as 1,000 psig and 300-350°C takes place in the absence of mass transfer influence. The rate is surprisingly high, requiring temperatures of 300°C or less for determination of differential conversions with the existing apparatus.
