Organo-mercury (II) compounds are highly toxic. Their detection and determination are of much current interest for environmental studies. The extraction and subsequent determination of crganomemeery (II) compounds were investigated. The work was done dosing CH3acsHgCl and C2H5203HgCl compounds. A well-type gamma scintillations counter was used to determine the distribution ration of the taggedcompounds. Subsequent separation and determination was ion by liquid chromatography and gas-liquid chromatography.
