A computer routine for making adjustments to two-dimensional tool path data has been incorporated into the APT system as a prepostprocessor. The routine reads the cutter location tape (CLTAPE), makes specified adjustments to the cutter center data, and creates a new CLTAPE for use by the machine postprocessor.
