In this note a transistorized version of a pulse limiting-shaping circuit is described. The original version of this circuit has been discussed in detail by L. Dick. The operation of the transistor circuit is briefly the following;-a negative photumultiplier pulse is used to switch off the current flowing through a transistor. A small inductance, clamped by a diode in the collector of this transistor generates a standard output signal which is constant both in shape and magnitude for a wide variety of input pulse heights and widths.
