The purpose of this paper is to present a functional description of the TCCO. This description makes use of the fundamental concepts of the theory associated with each circuit component;however, a rigorous circuit analysis is not intended. On the contrary, the scope of the circuit description is limited to intuitive reasoning verified by experimental results.nA description of the operation of the TCCO is presented in terms of typical experimental transfer characteristics related to a block diagram.
