摘要

Potentiometric titrations on a variety of acid leach liquors containing iron, uranium, and vanadium showed good correlation between EMF and oxidation state of the various elements in spite of wide variations in liquor composition. Therefore, it is possible to predict the oxidation state of these elements in a particular solution from a simple measurement of EMF.nThe titration curves of solutions containing the three elements showed four distinct breaks when titrations were made under proper conditions. From the curves, concentrations of iron, uranium and vanadium could be determined. The potentiometric method was found to be particularly applicable to the determination of ferrous iron.
