The computer program BECKDRY is described,which was written to assist in performing economic feasibility studies regarding the use of indirect dry-type cooling systems for large,steam-electric generating plants as well as in conducting further research on such systems. The output from BECKDRY is sufficiently detailed for the program to serve as an effective preliminary design tool.
