摘要

An exact numerical treatment of fully correlated two-electron systems is described and placed in context with themes characterizing Chris Bottcher's research regarding time-dependent, lattice approaches to the quantum mechanical solution of atomic collision problems. Tests of the method are summarized in which low-lying bound state are computed and the time-dependence of autoionization is described. Finally, prospects for treating the near-threshold electron-impact ionization of hydrogen and photoionization are discussed, as well as the general prospects for further development of this type of lattice treatment.
