摘要

The goal is to gain a thorough understanding of the radiative contributions of tropical cloud systems and their optical and microphysical properties. Algorithms for viewing geometry effects on scene identification and optical property retrievals were tested. A preliminary study on the role of sea surface temperature in modulating cloud optical properties also was completed.
