摘要

The spectral-luminescence and laser properties of YAG and YLF crystals doped withHo(3+) and Tm(3+) as active media for diode pumped lasers are examined. The processes of nonradiative excitation energy transfer (self-quenching sensitization and upconversion) providing the inverse population of working levels are studied. The intensity parameters are calculated for the YLF: Tm Crystal using the Judd-Offelt method. The energy transfer processes are experimentally studied in Ho(3+) and Tm(3+) doped YAG and YLF crystals. The spectroscopic amplifier model at laser diode pumping is proposed and optimization of the Ho(3+) and Tm(3+) concentrations is made.
