摘要

The approach is based on applying a multiple regression technique to colocated and nearly simultaneous Meteosat and Earth Radiation Budget Experiment (ERBE) data, and assuming that the ERBE scanner estimates of LW radiation existance represent the truth. Radiative transfer analysis was also used to interpret these results, in particular to estimate the sensitivitity of the signal and the broad band LW flux to temperature and humidity in the middle and upper troposphere.
