摘要

Colored stochastic Petri nets are used to evaluate the performance of distributed systems. Algorithms inspired by classical methods are employed. The CS-PN computer program was used to develop the algorithms. The program allows the validation and evaluation of the performance of the models by means of the Petri nets. The treatment is limited to Markov processes with exponential timing of transitions. The examples given include a distributed data base system and a multiprocessor architecture model.
