摘要

It is shown that when time constants are widespread or the time delays are large, a proportional controller which is designed using pseudodiagonal or first order model often fails to get an acceptable performance. Design techniques used in the p+I control case can cover a notable widening of time constants or relatively large time delay in individual elements. In cases where the time delays in a whole line are relatively large, the design technique is difficult to use to get an acceptable performance.
