摘要

In the first part of this lecture a very brief survey on the simulation facilities for high altitude hypersonic flow conditions in the Deutsche Forschungs- und Versuchsanstalt fur Luft- und Raumfahrt is given.nThe experimental activities in the field of hypersonic lifting vehicles in the DFVLR are split up into two major sections:nIn the first section some of the fundamental research work is examined, which is closely related to typical problems of hypersonic vehicles.nIn the second section the experimental effort in studying real flow problems is outlined.
