摘要

The D2AQ model is designed primarily for the solution of coupled heat and mass transport in porous media. The finite element method has been used as numerical method in the model, that is, the finite element method is used in the spatial discretization of the problem, whereas the finite difference method is used to advance the solution in time. The model is still under development and new options are being added. In the present version the model has been used primarily to analyse how flow conditions in the aquifer are dependent on the boundary conditions used in the solution, (i.e. changes in filter settings, changes in injection temperature, etc.). The model can be used for the solution of related problems that can be described by the same mathematical formulation as mass and heat transfer problems, such as transport of solutes in porous structures and salt water intrusion.
