摘要

Two extraction-spectrophotometric methods for the determination of low concentrations of bismuth in sulfide materials containing copper, lead, and zinc were examined. The more advantageous aspects of the methods were combined to give a single efficient method for the determination of bismuth in sulfide materials. This involves the initial extraction-separation of bismuth from up to 300 mg of copper, lead, or zinc with diethyldithiocarbamate followed by extraction into benzene as the complex of bismuth and tri-n-octylamine, which is measured spectrophotometrically at 380 nm.
