摘要

The Family Planning Management Training (FPMT) project is working with program managers in more than 25 countries to resolve a wide range of management problems in order to expand the availability of safe and effective family planning services. The purpose of the Compendium is to identify short-term, long-term, and/or individualized training programs that can help build skills appropriate to leaders, future leaders, and managers of family planning programs in developing countries. It is designed to be useful not only to the FPMT Project but to other projects, programs, and organizations planning participant training for family planning leaders and managers. The Compendium draws from the academic areas of public health, community health, business management, public administration, preventive medicine, and health services administration. Academic and professional organizations from both the public and private sectors are included.
