摘要

The Phase I study has demonstrated the potential for semi-automation of reconstruction of neural processes to accelerate the productivity of neuroscientists. Researchers have: (1) developed and demonstrated practical methodologies for semi-automation of slice-to-slice association of cross-sections; (2) designed algorithms for volumetric inference and analysis of neural processes from evidence available in 2D-cross-sections; and (3) built prototype workstations to allow the neuroscientist to examine and reason about reconstruction with great flexibility.
