摘要

The goal of the Kenya Radio Language Arts Project was to show radio-delivered teaching would improve second-language instruction in primary schools. Prior successful experience with the Radio Mathematics Project in Nicaragua provided evidence that such a system could be successful. The outcome of the experiment showed significant gains in student achievement and acceptance by students and teachers. The potential educational applications include the entire primary school curricula and adult education.
