The report was prepared for use in developing emergency exposure guidance levels (EEGLs), continuous exposure guidance levels (CEGLs), and short-term public emergency guidance levels (SPEGLs) for chemicals of interest to the Department of Defense. It is intended exclusively for use by the DoD for its particular exposure situations. The special needs and conditions of the DoD in its national defense role preclude direct applications of these guidelines to community or work standards.
