摘要

The monograph was designed to identify research findings and mental health intervention strategies that have proven effective in developing culturally appropriate mental health prevention and intervention programs. An effort was undertaken to conceptualize, study and transmit cultural competence in mental health practice as a vehicle to improve professional education and training for researchers and service providers entering the field.
