摘要

The use of two-phase polymers for soil aggregate stabilization represents a new area of aggregate stabilization research. Two-phase polymers undergo polymerization, and possibly crosslinking, after application to the soil. Two-phase polymers are a product of low molecular weight amine and aldehyde monomers which should experience less difficulty than high molecular weight polymers moving through the soil. Combinations of amine and aldehyde monomers varying in functionality, molecular weight, and molecular structure are used in this study to determine the effect of these monomer characteristics on soil aggregation over a range of soil textures.
