This issue of AMUKA contains articles on: Having students in developing countries do a development project for a thesis or dissertation; Rural Cooperatives in Zaire; the stewardship of Tangila, a cooperative for purchases; reflections on an initiative for development of a rural collective - cooperative action among the farmers of Turumbu; proposals to fight erosion in East Zaire (soil, water, and wind erosion); Manioc as a cause of malnutrition (kwashiorkor) and goiter; and activities of ISDR.
