摘要

In the study, 2-ethoxymethyl-benzimidazole was synthesized from orthophenylendiamine and ethoxyacetic acid. This was characterized by I-R, NMR and Mass spectrum. Four complexes as of Hg, Ag, Cu and Co were prepared with this ligand and the complexes were characterized with the help of different techniques.
