The study involves the use of hedging as a financial management tool. It provides facts, specific perceptions, attitudes and assessments of the feasibility of using FmHA insured and guaranteed loan funds for the purpose of paying hedging margins and associated costs. The study provides a number of sources of information designed to provide a balanced view of the problems and successes of hedging agricultural commodities.
