摘要

The purpose of this paper is to (a) apply the economic and social cost benefit methodology of Little-Mirrless and Squire-van der Tak to the Fourth Agricultural Credit Project in Morocco, and (b) discuss the operational implications of the results including price policy. The paper concludes that investments in mechanization, irrigation equipment, wells, draft animals and small implements generate a higher rate of return to Morocco's economy than to farmers due to price distortions biased against agriculture.
