Self-identification of racial/ethnic membership was requested of 1373 PACE competitors in fulfillment of a court order. One-quarter of the group failed to provide such identification. Test scores and ratings, including those of individuals who did not comply with the request, were analyzed. The representativeness of the group for all PACE competitors was limited.
