摘要

The purpose of this particular interim report was to present the physical and geometric data required to characterize the aerodynamic and thermodynamic aspects of subway rapid transit systems. This report deals only with single-track systems,and it will be incorporated into a more comprehensive report including multi-track systems to be issued at a later date. The range of values contained herein encompass the characteristics of the existing and anticipated single-track systems. The component designs reviewed include those for vent shafts,stations,vehicles and tunnels. (Author)
