摘要

The tolerable dose in the dog was 250 mg/kg/day x 28 and in the monkey 125 mg/kg/day x 28. In both dogs and monkeys the drug regimens at levels above the tolerable ones resulted in a leucopenia or a decrease in WBC and an anemia. These changes were reversible if the animal was allowed to recover from the effects of the drug and were not reflected in alterations in the bone marrow. The LD50 following oral administration to both mice and rats was greater than 8,000 mg/kg. Only range finding tests were done by this route of administration. No deaths were noted and no overt toxic symptoms in the animals treated by this route. Compound NSC 1895 was non irritating when administered I.M. to rabbits in dosages of 18, 38 and 75 mgs, and was non irritating to guinea pigs when administered S.C. in dosages of 18 and 38mgs. 75mgs when administered S.C. to guinea pigs produced evidence of irritation.
