摘要

The 'Network for Translational Research (NTR): Optical Imaging in Multimodal Platforms' is a cooperative agreement program (U54) designed to develop, optimize, and validate next-generation molecular imaging platforms and methods that couple novel optical imaging technologies with more traditional or advanced imaging methods in order to enter clinical trials and eventually be incorporated into clinical practice. As a part of the Cancer Imaging Program (CIP) of the Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis (DCTD), this translational research program epitomizes the mission of the CIP, to promote and support cancer related discovery, translational, and clinical research in imaging sciences and technologies, and to create integration and application of these imaging discoveries and developments to the understanding of cancer biology and to the clinical management of cancer.
