STANDARDS LABORATORY INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION PROCEDURE GG-04 (Revision 1) KLYSTRON POWER UNIT, POLARAD KX-B, AND MICROWAVE SIGNAL SOURCES POLARAD SSS, SSM, SSM-A, SSX, OR SSX-A
1.1 This procedure describes the calibration of the Polarad KX-B klystron power unit and the Polarad SSS, SSM, SSM-A, SSX, and SSX-A microwave signal sources.n1.2 This procedure will verify correct performance of the instruments tested within the required tolerances. Normally, each recorded value will be compared to its tolerance and corrective action taken, if required, before continuing the test; however, it is sometimes desirable to delay the verifi¬cation and corrective action until a number of values have been recorded. For this reason, the operator is cautioned not to verify the data until instructed to do so. Perform any corrective action in accordance with the manufacturer's manual and local laboratory practices. All data must be re¬corded on the calibration report form.n1.3 Read the entire procedure before starting the calibration.
